Anti-Racism and Black-Centered Resources
My approach to anti-racism work has, so far, been an attempt to understand the White supremacist culture that pervades our society and my role in it.
I’ve done this primarily by absorbing Black voices: books, articles, podcasts, and posts by activists, authors, journalists, and speakers. I’m collecting some of them here. It’s not a long list. I’m only sharing what I’ve read and listened to and the organizations I’ve learned about or supported. This list, which I’ll continue to update, is here to serve as a catalyst for your own research and anti-racism work.
White folks, if you’d like to connect over these or any other resources, contact me. Let’s do this work together.

*Doing some extra thinking on this one, based on this article in The Atlantic by John McWhorter. Also, the thinking of Jessica Wilson, MS. RD. (see this set of slides) which are amplified here by Sonya Renée Taylor. Namely, that the term itself, “White fragility,” cements the false illusions that White people are delicate and Black people are strong. Instead, we should name it for what it is: White entitlement and White violence.
